is completed the B.Sc. special degree in chemistry at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2002 with a first class. He read for the doctoral degree at the University of Cambridge, UK during the period of 2003-2006. Upon returning to the Department of Chemistry, University of Peradeniya in 2006, he continues to work as a Senior Lecturer to date. He has served as a chief examiner for G.C.E. A/L paper marking for several years and has guided many young learners to achieve their dreams.
