is a B.Sc. and M.Sc. graduate of University of Peradeniya and worked as a research officer in Faculty of Medicine of University of Peradeniya. He worked as an assistant Lecturer in Department of Molecular Biology and Bio technology, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. He started his carrier as a biology lecturer with the inception of English Medium AL classes in government schools in 2003. Excellent results produced by his students over the past time period with district ranks and with Island ranks shows his commitment to the development of English Medium science education of the country.
